OP STILETTO — HVT UPDATE
Following sustained operations by 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team throughout the OP STILETTO campaign, two significant hostile figures have now been removed from the operational picture.
HVT — “THE PREACHER”
The Preacher has been successfully detained by 16AABCT personnel and is now in friendly custody. His capture represents a significant intelligence opportunity and a major disruption to hostile command, influence and support networks operating within the AO.
HVT — “THE FORTUNE TELLER”
The Fortune Teller has been confirmed deceased as a direct result of 16AABCT operations. His removal further degrades the hostile network's ability to coordinate and conduct operations against coalition forces.

These outcomes are the result of intelligence collection, reconnaissance, planning and direct action conducted across the Brigade throughout the campaign. The operational picture continues to develop. Personnel are reminded that remaining hostile elements retain the capability and intent to operate within the AO. Two HVTs accounted for.
